  I love Ashley Furniture's style. I had been waiting for a long time to shop here because their pieces were so beautiful. A few days before Christmas I walked into the Broadview location and ordered a sectional...I paid cash. Once it was delivered I was disappointed. It didn't fit like expected and the color didn't look the same as in-store...It doesn't look good in my home! So, I called and requested a return or an exchange. The store gave me a flat NO! Even corporate was surprised that they wouldn't work with me...it's less than 2 weeks later. Apparently Ashley Furniture stores and the Ashley Furniture website are two different companies with different store policies. While the website allows returns for up to 30 days the store requires the item be refused immediately and you have to call within 3 days or so. I actually looked online for the return policy the same day I received the item and thought I had time to try to make it work based on the sites information. It's completely outrageous you can use the Ashley website to locate the brick and mortar store but they aren't the same and don't honor the corporate policies. My recommendation to the next consumer is to find the item you want in-store and go online to purchase it online. There's no point in risking it. At least this way you'll have a better insurance policy if something goes wrong. I'm so disappointed.
